Fibo Wall Panels
A Waterproof Shower, Installed in Days — Not Weeks.
RenoHaus is a certified Fibo dealer serving Raleigh and Wake County. Fibo is a Norwegian, 100% waterproof wall panel system — the same result you want from tile, without the grout lines, the dust, or the three-week timeline.
Why we carry it
We're tile guys. So why do we install Fibo?
Because after seven years of tearing out failed showers, we know what actually goes wrong. It's almost never the tile. It's the waterproofing behind it, and it's the grout in front of it.
Fibo removes both problems. The waterproof membrane is on the front of the panel, not hidden behind the wall — so there's nothing to fail out of sight. The panels click together with a patented Aqualock joint that seals as it locks. No grout, no sealing, no dark lines that turn gray in two years.
For homeowners who want a beautiful shower without living through a long remodel, this is the honest answer. And for the ones who want a fully custom tile shower — we still build those, and we build them right.
Is it really 100% waterproof? Yes. Fibo is approved for all wet-room zones, including directly inside the shower. The waterproof layer is built into the panel face and the Aqualock joints seal as they click together. Installed to spec with Fibo's own sealant, the wall is watertight.
Does it look like plastic? No. These are high-pressure laminate panels over a plywood core — closer in feel to a quality countertop than to a shower surround. The design range covers marble, stone, concrete and solid colors, and the joints are nearly invisible.
How long does an install take? Most single-bathroom installs are measured in days rather than weeks. We'll give you an exact timeline with your estimate.
Do you have to tear the walls down to the studs? Often, no. Fibo can be installed over existing walls or even over old tile, which is a large part of why it goes so much faster.
How do I clean it? Wipe it down. That's it. No grout to seal, no joints for soap scum to sit in.
What's the warranty? Fibo backs the panels with a limited lifetime warranty on residential installs. Our workmanship is warrantied separately — we'll go over both in writing before we start.
Do you still do custom tile? Absolutely. Tile is what we're known for. Fibo is an additional option, not a replacement — we'll tell you honestly which one fits your space and budget.
